Description
The gas retaining shell consists of a cylindrical tank with a conical roof of glass-clad steel plates. To store biogas at constant pressure, the membrane is pressed by a horizontal steel plate (loaded with concrete blocks). The steel plate, which is fixed with a guide column, moves between the floor and the roof of the gas retainer. Access to the upper part of the gas holder (aerated headroom) is provided through an external ladder, an external platform, and a well. Inside the tank, a corridor provides access to the entire tank environment. The tank head is aerated by a valve including a roof hood. Control and monitoring of the gas retainer is done by the surface sensor and indicator.
