AAT Double membrane gas storage

AAT Double membrane gas storage

Equipment name: Double membrane gas storage

Brand: AAT

Region: Austria

Equipment Type: Biogas Gas Storage

Model:

Application: Environment

Description

The outer membrane forms the main protective structure and is always under the necessary static positive pressure. Through a viewing window, internal operations are visible at any time. In the gas holder with the base plate, the lower membrane closes the storage space to the concrete base. With the help of an anchor ring, the membranes are attached to the foundation. There is a special emphasis on measuring membranes. Each holder is calculated separately according to the loads (internal pressure, wind, and snow loads). As a result, high tensile strength membranes will be selected. PVC-coated membranes are fungicidal according to DIN 4102 B1 and are equipped with increased protection against ultraviolet rays. To protect the membranes against materials in biogas (CH4, CO2, H2S, etc.), the inner and lower membranes have a special coating. To ensure the optimal gas mixture, each gas source and gas conduction is provided separately.

The supporting air blower provides the necessary pressure to the gas tank to absorb external forces such as wind and snow loads and to form on the gas system. On the other hand, a separate air pipe connects the blower to the tank. If the blower fails, the check valve prevents air leakage. For safety in the air system, a pressure control valve is installed. This valve controls the working pressure and independently agrees with the minimum required pressure (static stability, blower failure) on the outer membrane. This device is stable with the available gas storage capacity. Level measurement makes it possible to make optimal use of the storage volume and control of slave units (eg flamethrowers, motors, burners, etc.).

Advantages:

  • Low price to high-performance ratio
  • Short installation time
  • Integrated service for floating stirrer shaft
