Description
No one does seawater desalination better than that
Due to the shortage of fresh water in the world, Hydranautics brings a wide range of SWC RO membranes to meet the needs of the desalination industry. SWC membranes have increased their efficiency and salt excretion for more than two decades while reducing their environmental impact. SWC membranes have a wide range of innovative formulations depending on the salinity level required. SWC membranes are available in a range of innovative formulations suitable for different degrees of seawater salinity. Each offers the highest efficiency and desalination of salt in the industry with the optimal flow, low sedimentation, and low energy consumption. This exceptional performance and consistency create demand for SWC membranes in seawater desalination and high TDS industrial wastewater treatment programs, including conventional and composite designs.
SWC types
SWC4
SWC4 is the highest salt-rejecting membrane that is impermeable for the treatment of various seawater salinity levels and the production of TDS. SWC4 is used in seawater and highly saline water treatment. SWC4 membranes are available in two different types, LD and MAX. LD Technology® models are offered to minimize colloidal fouling when using conventional pretreatment equipment. They consistently provide low feed pressure with the maximum time between two consecutive cleanings. MAX models have 440 square feet (40.9 square meters) of the active membrane surface. They offer excellent performance with high TDS and boron removal from hot water.
SWC5
SWC5 membranes provide optimal salt excretion and diffusion flow. They are selected when TDS is less penetrating and less feed pressure is required. SWC5 membranes provide the highest energy efficiency at the lowest cost and are used in large desalination plants. SWC5 membranes are available in two different types, LD and MAX. They provide consistently low feed pressure with the maximum time between two consecutive cleanings. MAX models have 440 square feet (40.9 square meters) of the active membrane surface. They offer excellent performance with high TDS and boron removal from hot water.
SWC6
SWC6 is one of the lowest feed pressure membranes with low energy consumption. They are used when the seawater temperature is lower and requires high pressures. SWC6 membranes reduce energy consumption and lower refining costs. SWC6 membranes are available in two different types, LD and MAX.
