Description
Method:
The water to be filtered is directed into the rotor drum and through gravity into the filter discs, through the drum slots, and through the filter cloth. Suspended solids are separated and accumulated inside the filter cloth. When the water level inside the filter rises to a predetermined point, the filter starts to spin and the washing of the filter cloth begins. The backwash wash spray removes the suspended solids accumulated in the flume inside the central drum. The suspended solids are then discharged through the rejection pipe. It is immersed 66% of the surface of the disk, providing a large area for current to flow.
Why stainless steel filtration elements?
Stainless steel filtration is more resistant than the polyester. The pressure required to clean it is 8 times. The element in stainless steel ensures greater resistance to this operating pressure. The main resistance of the stainless steel filtration element is that the filter can be washed frequently. This will increase the efficiency of the disk filter.
External disk
The diameter is 2200 mm. Each complete disk shows a filtration area of 4.5 square meters. The open area varies depending on the mesh.
Each complete disk filter consists of 2 to 24 different disks.
Cleaning:
Each filtration element is cleaned by a spray wash tube (pressure 8 bar). There is no consumption of clean water because the water used for washing is the same as the water processed by the disc filter.
Removal of solids:
A set of solids is removed by the filter and removed.
Inspection and replacement of filtration elements:
Each filter element can be checked and finally replaced very easily. You just need to remove the top cover. After removing the top cover, the element can be extracted for testing or replaced with a new one.
