Awards

ENERGY GLOBE AUSTRIA WELS:

This award is for the design and construction of a biogas plant whose job is to generate energy through whey waste. The Berglandmilch Biogas plant in Wales generates power for 1,500 households and has enough heat to cover a third of their domestic needs – a new and unique project in Europe; This energy comes from the whey produced as waste from the cheddar cheese product.

Despite the € 2 million investment, the plant will be depreciated in just four to five years because: Berglandmilch saves on whey disposal costs, generates 2/3 of its heating needs, and in the next 13 years they will start selling electricity to the people. The network benefits from a reduction in CO2 emissions from fossil fuels of 2,000 tons per year for environmentally friendly green electricity tariffs. The surrounding farmers also benefit from receiving high-quality fertilizers produced in the whey fermentation process.

Integrated management system: (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)

AAT operates globally as an engineering office in the field of commissioning as well as a supplier of parts for biogas plants. A credible management system assists AAT in setting up factories. Success is not a permanent thing and depends on a continuous improvement process. AAT strives to comply with current legal regulations with a primary focus on occupational safety and environmental protection.

Environmental Protection:

AAT, as a biogas plant, is helping to accelerate the energy revolution and become more independent about the use of fossil fuels (crude oil and natural gas).

AAT always strives to reduce environmental impact with the best technology available and economically justifiable. AAT packaging is not discarded and can be reused. The AAT office is heated by biomass heating. AAT’s fleet of vehicles exclusively includes cars that run on biogas.
