Pieralisi LEOPARD Series

Vertical pyrolysis centrifuges are a suitable technological solution to complete the separation process performed by receiver centrifuges. Centrifugal separators, with very high rotational speeds, can reach a centrifugal force of up to 10,000 grams. This very high centrifugal force is a key element that allows the separators to remove solid particles that have not been successfully trapped in previous separation steps. In addition, the achievable performance levels depend on many factors: structural (type and design of the disc, internal volume, surfaces and discharge devices) and operational (flow rate, product characteristics, amount and type of solid content, temperature).

The product enters the upper part of the separator through the feed tube for clarification and is then subjected to centrifugal force and is forced to pass through hundreds of internal disks. The combined operation of the centrifugal force combined with the internal disks leads to the separation of solid particles that deposit on the drum wall and are then automatically and intermittently discharged. Fluids rise to the top of the drum and are continuously discharged through free outlets or centrifugal pumps.

Description

DMF (Multi-Fuzzy Decanter) technology paved the way for the design and production of LEOPARD, a technological solution for the third generation of olive oil extraction machines; LEOPARD is the only two-phase centrifugal extractor that produces a dried pulp similar to a three-phase decanter. It also separates “pete” dough (which has a mashed state) from pulp and provides an ideal material for composting or animal feed; It is also the only decanter that can manage modern extraction technology without adding water along with batch processing (with automatic drum draining device and control panel with on-screen touch buttons).

Specifications

More competition for the mill operator

Extract high-quality oil without adding water to the process.

  • Achieve the highest achievable performance against existing competitors in the current market.
  • Very low water and energy consumption.

DMF Technological Innovations

  • Advantages of processing without adding water (two-phase)
  • The adaptability of the decanter centrifuge, which is designed for continuous operation and batches.
  • Enabling the recovery of a certain amount of pulp, called “paste”, made from wet dough without any trace of the core directly on the drum. This confectionery is used for various uses, agricultural purposes, animal feed, mixing with other biomasses to produce biogas, as a possible substance that is ideal for human consumption, and in general, adds a by-product that is disposed of by the mill operator.
  • Production of dewatering pulp similar to a three-phase vein.
