BIOGEST was founded in 1976 by a well-known wastewater engineer named Franz Kraska and pioneered the first biological wastewater treatment system in the Federal Republic of Germany. The company is an international producer of biomass and biogas, with subsidiaries in Austria, France, Italy, Romania, Serbia, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, and the United States. It also has finished building more than 160 biogas power plants, and biomass plants worldwide. Most of the company’s factories are located in Europe, Asia, and North America, and its global market is provided by licensed partners.
More About Company
Biogas engineering operations throughout the chain, including project development and planning, joint ventures, and operation of biomass and biogas power plants, are performed with varying capacities. In addition to project engineering of other factories in different parts of the country, the company has its own biogas and biomass plants (Own Plants operations).
It should be noted that due to increasing waste production in the world and energy demand, the need to convert organic waste into clean and renewable energy is important, and the company uses its products to take a big step towards achieving climate goals. Because biogas production, unlike fossil sources, releases only enough CO2 that renewable sources absorb from the atmosphere during their growth.
products categorization:
1- Turbulent water management
1-1- Throttle / flow regulator
Turbulent water storage systems are designed to prevent hydraulic overload of sewage and wastewater treatment systems. This product offers a suitable technical solution that ensures a constant flow in the system, regardless of the constant height. ALPHEUS®BIOGEST type flow regulator offers various types of hydraulic-mechanical flow controllers (without external power) and electric discharge instructions for installation in dry and wet environments.
1-2- Flushing system
During the mixing process, waste deposits and undesirable contaminants are created. The only way to deal with it and eliminate this organic matter with an annoying odor is to regularly clean the undesirable contaminants. BIOGEST® cleaning systems do this in a simple and efficient way. Both vacuum methods, the MF technique, and the KS-type flash valve can keep tanks or storage channels clean without applying external energy.
1-3- CSO purification
Heavy rains in the water drain condition lead to unwanted pollution. The BIOGEST screening type effectively keeps floating and suspended solids back in. Simple straps are used to reduce fixed overflow thresholds, separate and drain floating debris (such as sanitary products, waste, and plastic bags). BIOGEST lamella baffle LTW type is installed permanently in front of the dam and keeps the material floating on the surface of solids.
1-4- Purification of solids
Sewage contains undesirable substances such as sediment, boulders, sand. These contaminants reappear in technical facilities and machinery, treatment plants, pumping stations, and bottlenecks, making these tools difficult. By installing GESMO type sand traps – this problem will be solved because it will be easier to use and remove contaminants from the canal
2- Wastewater treatment
The company designs and manufactures biological wastewater treatment processes using SBRs (Series Closed Reactors). This saves space for “regeneration” and “transparency” processes. Pools are built in a circle or rectangle, from above or below ground. This flexibility allows the refinery to be built even in more difficult situations such as tourist areas, leisure facilities or skyscrapers. BIOGEST has proven itself as a partner in national and international construction projects with proper design, interpretation and matching of effluent quantities.
Wastewater treatment technology
Surface aerators carry oxygen in the water using mechanical force. For example, oxygen generated by bacteria is required in the aeration tank of wastewater treatment plants. Extended surface aeration BIOGEST CROWN® with special design has enabled high oxygen transfer in relatively low energy consumption. In SBR wastewater treatment plants, the treated wastewater cannot be removed through the simple displacement of the drainage channel, and special clear water removal technology is required and can be used to remove clear water in drinking water treatment plants as well as the turbid water trigger mechanism from sludge storage tanks.
3- Sludge treatment
3-1- CROWN disintegrating system
refineries often face high sludge treatment costs and operational sludge treatment problems such as excessive sludge or foaming in the digestion process. The use of the CROWN crushing system is an innovative and effective solution to increase the performance of biogas and also to stabilize the treatment process.
3-2- CROWN HDT-System
This system was originally built for sludge treatment and has been used successfully in various wastewater treatment plants for 10 years. This type of substrate purification accelerates and improves biodegradation. And increases efficiency in the operation of agricultural biogas plants. In addition, the CROWN® HDT system improves the viscosity of the substrate, thus reducing the energy required for pumps and agitators.
