Description
Scrubber to neutralize chlorine gas
If a gas leak occurs due to an exceptional situation, a caustic is used for the neutralization process, for example. This process is pumped to the scrubber system with a circulating pump. The gas is inhaled by a fan and neutralized in the counter flow in the scrubber. The capacity of the circulating pump, as well as the fan, is controlled as a function of the concentration of chlorine gas in the working environment.
The main components of the scrubber are:
2 tanks made of PE for neutralizing liquid, with surface marker
Scrubber tower made of PE with a neutral column with clear PVC glass
Circulating pump for flushing fluid, designed as a submersible pump for neutralizing liquid storage tank
Circulation line with flowmeter, adjustable limit switch, and distribution nozzle
Connecting the exhaust air to the sleeve and the condenser and the condensate drain line
Output fan made of PE with frequency control
The scrubber is completely pre-assembled and tested.
